An experiment in writing orchestral music using JamOrigin’s MidiGuitar2 plugin and Spitfire Audio’s excellent BBC Orchestra plugin. All tracks were played on guitar directly into Cakewalk and recorded as Midi input. The only goals I had writing this were to try out each midi instrument and hopefully avoid sounding thin, the way that orchestral tracks on TV shows sometimes sound. By that criteria, this was a wild success and as a bonus I really like the way the track turned out; decidedly outsider art but very listenable.
